Traditional Italian linen soaked in dyes made from coffee, onion skins, Primitivo wine, chamomile, ash, and cochineal while in residence at Masseria Cultura, Noci, IT.

This site-specific installation is reminiscent of the typical Italian panni stesi. I dyed traditional Italian linens and hung them to dry outside so the sun and wind can mark their presence. They were left as a part of the landscape at Masseria Cultura, and will change with the passage of time.

Pictured here is after three weeks, where most of the colors have faded.
